CFID with grant support from T.Y Danjuma Foundation conducted an intervention for the refugees affected by the crisis in the Republic of Cameroun hosted in Nigerian border communities thus: (Sah Kaka, Warkaka, Ndumyaji, Antere and Inkiri) in Sardauna LGA, where relief materials such as food, non- food items distributed to the refugees and the hosting communities, equally important also medical the intervention carried out. This was done to cushion the effects which both refugees and the hosting communities were experiencing.
This intervention aimed at cushioning the effects of the crisis on the refugees and the hosting communities through the following objectives:
- Providing Psycho-social support to the refugees.
- Distribution of food items to the refugees and the hosting communities.
- Distributions of non-food items such as; Cloths, detergents, and soaps.
- Provision of Medical Intervention services to address the health needs of the displaced populations.
