The State Operative Coordinating Unit (SUCO) as coordinators of the Youth Employment and Social Support Operation (YESSO) programme engaged the Center For Initiative and Development (CFID) organization to execute the project to establish a Unified Register of Beneficiaries (URB) of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) as a result of communal, ethnicity and religious crises, and natural disasters in Taraba State for the Target Grant Transfer (TGT) by the State Government.
Sequel to the engagement, CFID enhanced the capacity of 35 volunteers and 5 supervisors as enumerators drawn across religion and ethnic groups of Taraba State on practical demonstration of profiling using KOBO collect application for the establishment of Unified Register of Beneficiaries of Internally Displaced Persons in Taraba State, Nigeria.
The trained Field enumerators successfully carried out profiling of IDPs in the 15 out of 16 LGAs in Taraba state, enumerating a total of 17449 Households, giving a total of 64889 individuals, 31977 male, and 32912 female above the targeted Households number of IDPs contained in the contract agreement.
